Jethro Caves is one 18 year old taking the fashion world by storm.  He has already appeared in spreads for i-D, Russh and Dazed and Confused and recently debuted on the runway for Balenciaga at Paris Fashion Week.  With his pale skin, interesting haircut and waif like figure Jethro is stepping out of the box and away from being classified as son of famous rocker Nick Caves.  He was rumored to have been dropped from Myer for bad behavior, however, New York and Milan are already hot on his heels.  Jethro Caves is definitely one name to look out for Watch this space. ♥

Erin Wasson continues to astonish me with her impeccable fashion choices.  She has graced the covers of countless magazine covers including Australian, French, German and Spanish Vogue along with Elle and Allure.  She's walked the catwalk for many international designers and is a current muse and stylist for best friend Alexander Wang. She has her own jewlerry line LowLuv and a collaboration line with RVCA.  She is continuously snapped up for her low key, laid back yet edgy style.  Wasson's signature style of denim cut offs and floral dresses are always toughened up with 90s grudge. Absolute love. ♥  ♥

I'm Back.

Ok so I havent posted in a month or so.. I know I'm shocking. But i've been super busy with the sudden overload of uni work and have made two trips to Sydney. Why you ask? Because I can and I can't stay away from that place I just have too much crazy fun when I go there and get up to all sorts of mischief with my trashy friends haha  

One night I found  myself locked in Candy nightclubs storage room with about a thousand disco balls. Was great fun :)

I want Balmain.

Everyone wants a slice of Balmain right now!

He has shot to the position of no. 1 most copied designer in the space of two seasons!

His Fall 09 show brought back the disco fever with Swarovski crystal covered body dresses and the shortest skirts around. Balmain is all about sexy power dressing right now and the recession is no excuse!  

Balmain's Spring 09 show gave off a different feel with stone washed jeans, wrap bandage dresses and tough accessorised jackets. Shoulders were strong and round and dresses were tight, short and sequin covered.  The models strutted down the runway with tough sky-high dimante and studded sandals.  If you wanna be dressing like anyone right now its Balmain!

I ♥ Ronson

Friday night Charlotte Ronson held a party in LA to celebrate her new line 'I ♥ Ronson'   in collaboration with JCPenny.  Charlotte's sister, Samantha was on the decks all night as a star studded crowd sipped pink strawberry vodka cocktails and miniature pizzas and burgers.  Paris and Nicky Hilton, Rachel Zoe, Nicole Richie, Cory Kennedy and Molly Sims were among the guests attending, however, no Lindsay to be seen which has sparked rumours of her relationship with Samantha.  

One to watch.

The NRA Australian Fashion Design Awards kicked off this week and one category that I always find intriguing is the student designs.  One young designer that caught my eye was Nikko with his personal take on deconstructed tailoring.  His dishevelled tailoring looks were pulled off using chiffon, tulle and denim with pintucked detailing.  He stuck to a grey, white and black palette giving it a relaxed, raw feeling.  I loved all of his looks and he certaintly stood out from the other collections that were shown.  Although he didn't make it into the finals, Nikko is definately one name to keep your ears open for because we're going to be hearing a lot of him in the future :)

Lily Love.

London's hottest export right now is Lily Donaldson.  She is not only one to watch on the catwalk but her personal style off clock makes her one of my favourite muses. She is the current face of major advertising campaigns for Burberry and Gucci and recently graced the catwalks at Milan Fashion Week for Versace, Alexander Wang, D&G, Givenchy and Dior.

This 21 year old beauty featured on the cover of British Vogue last month and pulls the 'model off duty look' to a perfection.  She has a rock 'n' roll edgy inspired look that reflects on a simple black and white palette. Lily is the right mix of elegance, simplicity and grudge and definately one to keep a close eye on!

Oh and I just went to a really cool art exhibition it was in some old run down shed and was really interesting. A room filled with lots of interesting people, djs and local artists which is always good to support. Was going to go to the afterparty at Elsewhere but since I had a terrible night last night and work all day tomoro i decided to skip it.

Enjoyable night though. x

Topshop loves New York.

Topshop has finally hit the US shores today!  Kate Moss's  Spring Summer 09 collection will also launch in their first New York store.  The opening week brings complimentary beauty treatments, special guests DJs and sweet treats.  Loving Kate in her campaign she's looking hotter than ever after recently addmitting she's finally getting curves and feels like a real woman. Love It.

Totally loving everything Daisy Lowe right now!  This London born model, muse, actress and dj has graced the covers of French Vogue and editorial spreads in Harpers Bazaar and Italian Vogue.  She is regularly seen partying it up with famous friends Agyness Deyn, Lydia Hearst and rock daughter Peaches Geldof.  Currently the face of Marc by Marc Jacobs Daisy can't get much hotter right now!
